O2 chosen as Website of the Year 2014
The winners of the 2014 edition of the Website of the Year award – Britain’s most important people’s choice award for websites – are revealed on websiteoftheyear.co.uk.
This year, 228 websites were nominated in 19 categories. More than 134.000 votes were cast between the 22nd of September and the 31st of October.
O2 is chosen as ‘Website of the Year 2014’ in the United Kingdom because of its content, navigation, design and recommendation intention. In each category there are two prizes to win: the title ‘Best Website of the Year’ is provided to the website with the highest average score on content, navigation, design and recommendation intention. The title ‘Most Popular Website’ is provided to the website with the highest number of votes.

The Website of the Year election is the online public award of the year which singles out the best and most popular websites in 19 categories. The award is independent and objective and is organized by MetrixLab, a global provider of consumer insights and marketing analytics.
